Hello Wildcats and Ladycats,
Let me begin by expressing my gratitude for receiving the opportunity to continue serving the Onalaska community as the Superintendent of Schools. I am looking forward to another spectacular school year and many more to come. It is our goal to provide students with a safe, secure, and supportive environment that allows them to be productive, creative, and successful. We will continue to provide our students with 21st century academic experiences in an environment that creates critical thinkers and life-long learners. Our school community will focus on building positive relationships and work tirelessly to meet the needs of our students, staff, parents, and community members. Anthony Roberts was born and raised in Cleveland, Texas and graduated for Cleveland High School. He earned a Bachelors Degree from the University of Houston, a Masters Degree from Lamar University, and holds a science, principal, and superintendent certification. In the fourteen years he has served Onalaska Junior Senior High, he has been a science teacher, coach, athletic director, assistant principal, and principal. Prior to coming to Onalaska ISD, he was a science teacher and golf coach for New Caney ISD. This will be his sixteenth year in Onalaska and his third as Superintendent of Schools. He has a wonderful wife of twenty-four years and two great children, ages sixteen and nineteen. Both of his children are proud Wildcats and lifelong attendees of Onalaska ISD with his eldest now attending the University of Texas.
The Superintendents Office is located at 134 N. FM 356 in Onalaska. Our office is happy to serve you from 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Monday- Friday during the school year with modified hours during the summer.
