In accordance with the Texas Government Code, Public Information 552.126 Onalaska Independent School District Board of Trustees hereby gives the public notice of : FINALIST FOR SUPERINTENDENT POSITION OF ONALASKA INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT
On the evening of Monday, September 30, 2024 the Onalaska ISD Board of Trustees conducted interviews for the position of Superintendent of Schools for the Onalaska Independent School District. The Board unanimously selected Dr. Kenneth Fraga as Lone Finalist. The district will be following the mandatory 21-day waiting period. Dr. Fraga is currently serving as Assistant Superintendent with OISD and has previously served as Principal of Onalaska Jr. and Sr. High School.
"We are confident that Dr. Fraga will exceed our expectations as we begin a new chapter for a bright future in Onalaska ISD," stated Board President, Mrs. Candice Davies.
The Board anticipates taking final action at a Board Meeting scheduled for October 21, 2024, to be conducted in the OISD Administration Building, located at 134 N. FM 356 in Onalaska, Texas 77360. The meeting is set to begin at 6:00 p.m.
