A Letter from the Superintendent
Onalaska ISD Community and Stakeholders,
It is with a deep sense of gratitude and humility that I begin my journey as the Superintendent of Schools for Onalaska ISD. I am truly honored to have been selected for this role. Although I have only been working in this community for two and a half years, the love and support that I have been shown have made me and my family feel like we have been here forever.
Though many of you have come to know me, please allow me to tell you a little about myself. This year marks my 18th year as an educator. I have been a teacher, coach, assistant principal and an associate principal in other districts. I have also served Onalaska ISD as the principal at OJSH and as the Assistant Superintendent. My wife Lauren and I have three kids who attend school in Onalaska.
I believe in leading through service and by example. For me, being the Superintendent is an opportunity to serve the staff, students, and community of Onalaska and I sincerely look forward to this opportunity. I am committed to bringing a sense of stability and continuity to OISD, as we strive together to Grow Every Kid, Every Day.
Thank you for the trust that you have given me thus far. I look forward to our continued partnership in fulfilling the mission OISD!
Sincerely,
Dr. Kenneth Fraga
Superintendent of Schools
Onalaska Independent School District
